QuizUp America was a game show originally set to air on NBC sometime in 2016. 10 episodes were ordered. The format and concept of the show were based on the trivia app QuizUp, one of the top trivia applications on all platforms.[1][2]

On August 31, 2016, NBC cancelled the show before it premiered, coincident with the closure of the Icelandic office of the QuizUp developers.[3]
