Richard James Boon Bosworth FAHA, FASSA (born 1943) is an Australian historian and author, and a leading expert on Fascist Italy.

He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Sydney before going on to doctoral study at St John's College, Cambridge. He taught at the University of Sydney and the University of Western Australia until his retirement in 2011.[1] He is also a Senior Research Fellow at Jesus College, Oxford[2] and held a professorship at the University of Reading from 2007 to 2012.[3]
