RCP was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Chicago.[1] With approximately $4.9 billion of assets under management (as of June 30, 2015) across the Firm's funds-of-funds, as well as its secondary funds, co-investment funds, and non-discretionary accounts, and 41 full-time professionals, RCP is one of the largest private equity fund-of-fund sponsors focused exclusively on the North American lower middle market buyout sector.
