RTSKED is a real-time scheduling language for controlling a music synthesizer, developed by Max Mathews and cited by Miller Puckette as an antecedent for his Max. Composer Laurie Spiegel briefly worked with Mathews on this language at Bell Labs early in the 1980s.[1]
