Rain on Lens is the 9th album by Smog (the alias of Bill Callahan). It was released in Europe on September 17, 2001, on Domino Records, and a day later in North America on Drag City. It is the first album with a picture of Callahan himself on the cover. It was recorded by Rob Bochnik and Jeremy Lemos and produced by Callahan.

Musicians appearing on the album are Jessica Billey (violin and backing vocals), Kyle Bruckmann (English horn and oboe), Geoff Greenberg (bass guitar), Nate Lepine (alto saxophone and flute), Rick Rizzo (guitar) and Pat Samson (drums).
