Ramla Ali is a Somali boxer based in London. She won the 2015 Novice national championships and then the 2016 England Boxing Elite National Championship. [1] She moved to England from Somalia as a war refugee.[2] She started boxing as a teenager in an effort to lose weight. She has since helped set up Somalia's boxing federation in Mogadishu.[3] She won the elite ABA in 2016.[4]
