Rangitukia is a small settlement 10 kilometres south of East Cape in the northeast of New Zealand's North Island. It is located close to the mouth of the Waiapu River.

In Rangitukia, the two main Marae are called Hinepare and Ohinewaiapu

St John's Church is located straight across the road from Hinepare Marae.

At the Urupa (Cemetery) notable burials include Canon Hone Kaa and Ex Maori All Black George Nepia. Rangitukia is the very foundation of Ngati Porou iwi.It is said that "Maui's" waka is rested on top of Hikurangi Maunga! Rangitukia is based by the beautiful river mouth of Waiapu Awa (river).
