Rasul is a town and Union Council of Mandi Bahauddin District in the Punjab province of Pakistan located at 32°42'0N 73°34'0E at an altitude of 233m (767 feet).[1] Rasul is a river crossing on the Jhelum River and a university town.

The town has the University of Technology, Rasul and a Power Station.

History

Rasul is an old village, being known before the muslim name as Ram nagar.[2] this time living people mongols. (baig) ( barlas)
