Raw, alternatively titled Grave, is a 2016 French-Belgian film written and directed by Julia Ducournau.[1] It was screened in the International Critics' Week section at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival where it won the FIPRESCI Prize.[2][3] The film tells the story of a vegetarian who becomes a cannibal.
During a screening at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival, two viewers required emergency medical services while the film's graphic scenes were played.[4]
