The red-faced liocichla (Liocichla phoenicea) is a species of bird in the Leiothrichidae family. The scarlet-faced liocichla was formerly considered a subspecies.
Distribution
L. phoenicea is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Camdodia, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
