Richard Jackett was a Cornish rugby union player who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics at White City Stadium, London. He played 71 times for Cornwall, club rugby for Falmouth RFC and between 1905-14 he played 59 times for Leicester Tigers scoring 8 tries.

He was a member of the British rugby union team, which on 26 October 1908 won the Olympic silver medal for Great Britain.

He is the brother of Edward Jackett.[1]
