Richard Onslow (priest)
Richard Francis Onslow(born 16 January 1776[1] – died 23 October 1849 [2]) was Archdeacon of Worcester from 1815 to[3] to 1849.
He was born into an ecclesiastical family,[4] educated at Christ Church, Oxford[5] and ordained in 1800. He was Domestic Chaplain to the Bishop of Worcester; and then Vicar of Kidderminster until 1834.[6] His final post was as Rector of Newent: in 1848 he fell ill and was "no longer able to preach".[7]
His wife Harriet survived him and died in 1860;[8] and his last surviving child, also called Harriet, died in 1879.[9]
