Robert Dowling is a headmaster in the city of Birmingham.

He is well known for turning around George Dixon School from closing, and received a Knighthood from The Queen in 2002, during her birthday honours.[1] In 2005, he was praised by OFSTED for his role in dealing with issues of sex and morality in his school.[2]

He was the headmaster of St. Georges School, Birmingham, in Edgbaston, Birmingham.
