Robert Michael James Sissons (born 29 September 1988) is former English professional footballer.
A central midfielder, he made his first team debut for Bolton Wanderers in the third round of the 2005–06 FA Cup competition in January 2006, against Watford, coming on as a substitute for Bruno N'Gotty.[2] He has been capped by England at Under 17 and Under 18 level. Sissons also has representative honours at both Rugby Union and Cricket
On 15 June 2009 it was confirmed that Sissons would be leaving Bolton at the end of his contract. From here he accepted a place at the University of Manchester to read Law where he captained the University's men's football team.[3] In 2012 he joined Droylsden.
