Romstal is the biggest sanitaryware distributor in Romania and one of the largest in Europe with 200 stores in Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Italy, Bulgaria, Russia and Serbia.

The company is structured as a holding with many smaller companies including Romstal Leasing which in 2007 was sold to KBC Lease for US$98 million.

Romstal started in 2006 to build a fitting factory in Ukraine worth US$14 million and in November 2007 Romstal bought a company from Serbia called Doming also specialised in sanitation equipment distributor for US$14 million.
