Ronald "Ron" Evans (birth registered April→June 1933[1] — 31 October 2010 (aged 77)) birth registered in Pontefract district, was a professional rugby league footballer of the 1950s and '60s, playing at club level for Wakefield Trinity, and Castleford as a Scrum-half/Halfback, i.e. number 7, he died in Castleford.

Genealogical information

Ron Evans' marriage to Irene Robinson was registered during April→June 1955 in Pontefract district[2] They had children; Gary Evans (birth registered April→June 1960 (age 63–64) in Wakefield district). Ron Evans was the brother-in-law of the rugby league footballer Don Robinson.
