Roselinda Soipan Tuya (born 1982) is a Kenyan politician who served as Cabinet secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Forestry. She was the first Maasai woman to be in the Cabinet of Kenya.[1] She was dismissed on 11th July 2024, before being nominated for the position once again on 18th July 2024.[2][3]
Education
She attended The Kenya High School for her secondary education (Class of 1998), then the University of Nairobi graduating with a Bachelor of Laws, and thereafter the University of Washington passing with a Masters of Laws.[4]
Political career
Tuiya served as women's representative for Narok County from 2013 to 2022.[1]
Family
Tuya is the daughter of former Narok South MP Samson Ole Tuiya.[5]
