Rowing Blazers is American clothing brand founded by Jack Carlson, a former member of the United States national rowing team and the author of the book "Rowing Blazers".[1][2] The brand's product line includes blazers, ties, and shirts.[3]
Overview
Rowing Blazers was established in May 2017, with its headquarters located in New York City.[4] The company’s production facility is located in Manhattan’s Garment District.[5] Carlson established this clothing line with the knowledge accumulated for his book with the same name and his experiences at Oxford, on the U.S. rowing team, and as an archaeologist.[6] The brand is known for the extensive use of cryptic Latin proverbs in its collection.[7]
Partnerships and collaborations
Rowing Blazers is an official partner of 2017 Henley Royal Regatta winners and Oxford Brookes University Boat Club.[7][8] The company is also official partner of the Harriman Cup, the annual Yale-Virginia polo match.[9]
In October 2017, the company launched collaborations with Merz b. Schwanen, a jersey label and Sports d'Epoque, a French-based sports jersey company.[7] In the same month, the company also collaborated with Mordechai Rubinstein.[10]
