Rudolf Heynsen (22 August 1890 in Eutin – 26 May 1974 in Hamburg) was a German naval officer and commander of the 27. Minensuchflottille in World War II and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (Template:Lang-de). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. He graduated from the Thomasschule zu Leipzig in 1911.[1]
