Ruth Munson (born February 28, 1958) was an American politician and businesswoman.

Born in Waukegan, Illinois, Munson received her bachelor's degree in Political Science from Northern Illinois University. She was a business owner. She was elected to the Elgin City Council in 1999. Munson served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 2002 to 2009 and was a Republican[1][2]
