Sônia Hernandes

Sônia Hernandes (born November 22, 1958 as Sônia Haddad Moraes Hernandes) is a Brazilian pastor. She is one of the founders and leader of the Neocharismatic church Ogre ja Renascer em Cristo.

Hernandes is married to Estevam Hernandes and they have three children: Fernanda, Gabriel and Felipe.

Hernandes is known because of the nationwide concerts with more than 50.000 people, she is also the director of a radio station Radio FM.

In 2007, Hernandes and her husband were both arrested and sentenced to prison for smuggling cash to United States. she lived temporary under court order in their own house in Florida, U.S.A. Hernandes returned to Brazil after leaving the American prison.[1]
