Saba Hamedy is a breaking news reporter for CNN Politics.[1]

She previously wrote for Los Angeles Times about the Iranian community, national news, and the business of Hollywood and digital entertainment, including TV and the box office. Reportedly, she is an avid TV and movie watcher described as 'a couch potato'.

She was editor-in-chief of “The Daily Free Press” while at Boston University. She had also been editorial intern for the Christian Science Monitor.

She has also written for Huffington Post, and she covers 'all things digital entertainment' for Mashable.
