Saiyami Kher is an Indian actress who made her Hindi film debut opposite Harshvardhan Kapoor in Rakesh Omprakash Mehra's film Mirzya based on the Punjabi folklore Mirza Sahiban. She has also acted in a Telugu film Rey (2015).

Career

Kher had been a successful model and has campaigned for brands like Levis, Pantaloons, L'oreal, Idee eyewear among many others. She was also a part of the Kingfisher calendar. She is a highly competent cricket player, her speciality being medium-fast bowling, and, based on recent information - gleaned from a TV show - was once in consideration for selection to the Indian womens' national cricket team. She opted to switch to the movies instead, and the loss was that of the Indian cricket team.[1]

Personal life

Kher is the granddaughter of yesteryear actress Usha Kiran and niece of Tanvi Azmi. Her mother Uttara Mhatre Kher was an ex Miss India.[2] She is very good in sports and was going to get selected in Indian Cricket team before she joined acting as her career.
