Salkia is a town in Howrah, West Bengal, India. It is on the Hooghly River, near Kolkata municipality. It is between Mali Panchghara and Ghusuri.[1] It has existed since at least the 19th century.[2] Tikia Para and Pilkhana, Kolkata are among the other towns in Howrah.
