Sampu (Quechua for knock-kneed / a person with one black and one indigenous parent,[2] hispanicized spelling Sambo) is a mountain in the Willkanuta mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,200 metres (17,060 ft) high. It is situated in the Puno Region, Melgar Province, Nuñoa District. Sampu lies southwest of Wiqu and Qillwa Quta and northwest of Willu Punchu.[1]
