Sanimayu (Quechua sani purple, violet, mayu river[2] "purple (or violet) river", also spelled Sanimayo) is a mountain in the Willkanuta mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,300 metres (17,388 ft) high. It is situated in the Cusco Region, Quispicanchi Province, Marcapata District. Sanimayu lies northwest of the peaks of Kuntur Ikiña and Saqsa Ananta and east of Wila Jaqhi.[1]
