Sanjeev Kumar Sharma Delhi) is a former Indian cricketer who played in 2 Tests out of 14 appearance and 23 ODIs out of 41 appearance from 1988 to 1997. As right arm medium pace bowler, he was one of several bowlers tried out as Kapil Dev's opening partners in the 80's. He made an impressive start by polishing off the tail on his Test debut against New Zealand in 1988-89 to finish with three for 37. He toured West Indies in 1989 without making the Test team and played just one more Test against England in 1990. After a career that spanned nearly 20 years, he announced his retirement from competitive cricket in November 2004.
(born 25 August 1965,His best bowling figure in Tests is 3/37 against New Zealand in 1988-89, 5/26 in ODIs against West Indies at Sharjah during the Champions Trophy in 1988 and 8/76 in first-class cricket against Bihar at Ferozshah Kotla Stadium in Delhi, during pre-quarter final of Ranji Trophy.
His best batting figure against Uttar Pradesh is 117 not-out in the first innings and 55 not-out in the second innings at Karnail Singh Stadium, Delhi during Ranji Trophy in 1991.
In August 2018, he was appointed as the coach of Senior Sikkim cricket team.[1]
