Segermes
Appearance
Segermes is a town in Tunisia, situated about 60 kilometres south of Carthage.[1]
Under the Roman Empire, the ancient city of Segermes belonged to the province of Byzacena.
Bishopric
Segermes became a bishopric. It is no longer a residential see, but is included in the Catholic Church's list of titular sees.[2] As of 2007[update] the titular bishop of the see is Josef Clemens.
