Seren Cymru Aug 13 1851

Seren Cymru was a Welsh language newspaper, first established in Carmarthen in 1851 by Samuel Evans. It was more successful when re-established in 1856, under the editorship of J. Emlyn Jones. It contained local, national, and international news, and radical contributions.[clarification needed] The printer William Morgan Evans owned the paper until 1880, when he sold it onto a Baptist company.[1]
