Michael Summers (born January 6, 1980), better known by his stage name Seven, is an American hip hop producer. Seven is best known for being the in-house producer for independent record label Strange Music as well as his work with rapper XV

Career

At the age of 7 (the meaning behind his name), Seven started learning the piano and many other instruments. He also said that he started making beats around 11 years old. Seven first started working with Tech N9ne in the late 1990s to early 2000s. Seven has produced several tracks on every Tech N9ne CD since Everready [The Religion] .

Seven has also produced beats for many other Strange Music artists such as Krizz Kaliko, Prozak, Kutt Calhoun, Brotha Lynch Hung and the CES Cru

Seven is credited as the producer for Stik Figa's 2012 album, As Himself.

Seven also has produced many beats for Kansas city rapper Mac Lethal including the entire album "Irish Goodbye".

Seven has also produced beats for Detroit rap duo Twiztid, particularly their 2012 release Abominationz, in which he produced the vast majority of.
