Shashwat Sachdev is an Indian music composer and entrepreneur, known for his work in the Bollywood romantic movie Phillauri.[1]
Early life
Sachdev was born in Jaipur. He started learning music when he was 3 years old, beginning with Hindustani classical vocals and rhythm. He then went on to train in the Western classical piano during his school days.[2]
Career
In the year 2011, Sachdev moved to Hollywood to produce music and worked on a number of projects.[3] In 2017, he was the music composer for Phillauri, which starred Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh.[4] In 2018, He composed the promotional title song for the Indian black comedy film Kaalakaandi starring Saif Ali Khan.The film is directed and written by Akshat Verma.[5][6] [7] In the same year, He has composed four songs for Veere Di Wedding, a Bollywood female buddy comedy film, directed by Shashanka Ghosh. The film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania in lead roles, as four friends attending a wedding. He also wrote a song for the film.[8]
