Slza (in English Tear) is a Czech pop music band that became famous in 2014 with the song "Lhůta záruční". Its members are Petr Lexa and the founder is Lukáš Bundil.[1] Petr Lexa sings, he also presents his band on his personal YouTube channel. He has already appeared on television as an actor in the port series. Lukáš Bundil plays guitar and is the founder of this band. He just asked Peter Lex to sing with him. Besides, other musicians are playing them at the concerts, but they are not permanent members of the band.[2]
This group has won a number of awards. Their debut album debuted on the 1st place of the Czech charts with the sale of 3,000 pieces in one week and three weeks after the release of the platinum album.[3]
They work with Ondřej Ládek, known as Xindl X. The actress Veronika Hájková played in the video for their first song, which was created under the title Lhůta záruční. The text for this song was written by Ondřej Ládek, known more under the pseudonym Xindl X. Barbora Zelená, the finalist of the Miss 2011 competition, played in the video on their second song Celibát.[4] The third released song is called Katarze and it is the main soundtrack for the television serial Přístav.[5] In 2015 they released the debut album Katarze, which includes a total of 10 songs. The 4th song they released at the beginning of April is called Fáze pád.[6]
In autumn 2017 Slza released the second studio album Holomráz.[7]
