Soil Research is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by CSIRO Publishing. The current editor-in-chief is R.J. Gilkes (University of Western Australia). The journal is abstracted and indexed in Elsevier BIOBASE, BIOSIS, CAB Abstracts, Chemical Abstracts, Current Contents/Agriculture, Biology & Environmental Sciences, Science Citation Index. It was established in 1963 as the Australian Journal of Soil Research and obtained its current title in 2011. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2011 impact factor of 1.530.[1]
