The sombre hummingbird (Aphantochroa cirrochloris) is the only species in the genus Aphantochroa. It is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is endemic to Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and heavily degraded former forest.
