Sonic Postcards was an educational sound art recording project first conducted within UK primary schools in which children recorded their local environment and constructed short "sonic postcard" musique concrète pieces. Sonic Postcards was awarded the New Statesman New Media Award for education in 2006. It was run by the Sonic Arts Network.
