Sopotnia Mała [sɔˈpɔtɲa ˈmawa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Jeleśnia, within Żywiec County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Jeleśnia, 11 km (7 mi) south-east of Żywiec, and 75 km (47 mi) south of the regional capital Katowice.

The village has a population of 1,251.
