St. Francis Xavier's Girls' High School is a Bengali Medium school in Old Dhaka, Bangladesh operated by the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions, a Roman Catholic religious order. [1][2] It was established as an English-medium school in 1912 by the Congregation of Our Lady of Christian Missions at Luxmi Bazar. After Bangladesh became independent in 1971, the school became a Bengali Medium school.

Though it is a missionary school students of all religion can enroll in this school.The school starts at 7:40 a.m. and ends at 1:25 p.m. There are four sections in every class. Each section contain beautiful name like, Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter, Hira, Nelkamal etc. There are about 60 to 70 students in every class. In front of the school building there is a play ground and a Basket Ball Court for the students.

The school is open to students of all religions and castes.
