St Barnabas Secondary School popularly known as Madzimbabwe Secondary is a school located in Wedza. It is approximately 2 km from the Wedza-Murambinda highway. The school offers up to O'Level.

There are currently two grounds for netball and two grounds for football. Sporting activities includes; athletics,football, handball, volleyball, long jump, triple jump, high jump, netball etc

Notable teachers to have taught at this school includes Mr Sheppard Chinhara, Mr Chipunza (mambo George), Eliya Munda (The Mathematician), Nobert Mazendame, Mr Chasakara, Mr Spuka (The Scientist), Madam Mutero (Mupanda), Madam Chipunza, Mr Murehwa (The Linguistic) to name but just a few.

The school drwas most of its students from surrounding villages including Munodawafa, Magadzire, Negombwe, Makurumure.
