51°48′04″N 1°58′01″W / 51.801°N 1.967°W / 51.801; -1.967 St. Michael's Middle School is a Church of England Middle School in Colehill, Dorset. The local church is situated close to the school, although it is not a sole religious school and parents can opt to take their children out of the religious assemblies. Age ranges are from 9 to 13 in years 5 to 8. St Michael's was opened in spring 1971 and the school has recently performed its 40th-anniversary concert. The school has been awarded Outstanding in Ofsted.

The current headteacher is Mr Ron Jenkinson. He replaced Mr Paul Nation at the start of the 2013-14 Academic Year For over 25 years the deputy head was Mr Andrew Jones, who was also head of music; the school became well known for its concerts at the school and at the Minster in Wimborne.
