Stelrad is a British based manufacturer of central heating radiators. Its Elite radiator is the UK's most popular radiator.

History

Founded in 1936 as the Steel Radiators company in Southall, London.[1][2] It now makes products for central heating systems. It opened a factory in Dalbeattie, Dumfries and Galloway, in 1983, which has since closed.

Structure

It is situated off the A6022 in Swinton, between Swinton and Mexborough railway stations. It has a 17 acre site.

Products

  • Radiators - it produces over 2.5 million each year at its South Yorkshire factory on four manufacturing lines which operate 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. Every radiator is kite-marked under BS 442.
