Stephen Decatur Middle School is a middle school for grades 7/8 in Berlin, Maryland. It is a part of the Worcester County Public Schools and was named after the War of 1812 naval hero Stephen Decatur, who was from Worcester County. It is a National Blue Ribbon School and one of the teachers, Mrs. Michelle Hammond, was the Maryland Teacher of the Year in 2007.
