JJ Abrams is an American film and television producer, writer, actor, composer, and director.

Abrams was born in born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles. He attended Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York.

He has worked on various television and movie projects such as Alias, Felicity, and Armageddon. He is also reportedly writing the upcoming latest installment of the Superman series of films.
