Steve Swindall (born 11 December 1982 in Scotland) is a Scottish former rugby union footballer who played for Glasgow Warriors. He played internationally for the Scotland 'A' side.

Swindall came through the amateur ranks playing for Whitecraigs.[1][2]

He then played for Glasgow Hawks.[3]

A back up player for Glasgow Warriors from 2003 while still playing for the Hawks, Swindall made his Glasgow Warriors debut in 2004 playing against Yorkshire Carnegie, then known as Leeds Tykes, in a pre-season friendly.[1]

He landed a professional deal with Glasgow Warriors in 2005.[1]

He left Glasgow for a season to play with the Rotherham Titans in 2009.[1] He also began his rugby coaching career with the Titans as a community coach.[4]

After one season with the Titans he rejoined Glasgow for a final season in 2010-11.[1][5]

This move back did not work out and Swindall left to become a player-coach at Amatori Rugby Milano in Italy.[4]

He then played for amateur club Stirling County.[6][7]

He played internationally for Scotland at age grades U18, U19 and U21 before being capped for the Scotland 'A' side.[1][8]

He now plays and coaches in Austin, Texas in the United States for amateur side Austin Blacks.[9]
