Styraconixidae

The Styraconixidae are a family of tardigrades.[1] The family was named by Reinhardt Møbjerg Kristensen and Jeanne Renaud-Mornant in 1983.

There are 10 genera. Some of these including "Bathyechiniscus", "Rhomboarctus", "Tetrakentron" and "Tholoarctus" are of Greek origin.
