Sudan Archives is the stage name of Los Angeles-based musician Brittney Parks. She is a violinist and vocalist, and is signed to Stones Throw Records.[1]

Early life

Parks grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She began playing violin in the 4th grade and is self-taught.

Musical style

She is reportedly inspired by Sudanese fiddle music as well as American R&B and experimental electronic music.[2][3]
