"Supawoman"
Song

"Supawoman" is a song by American Idol finalist, Kimberley Locke from her Based on a True Story album. Originally planned as the lead single from the album, market testing in August 2006 did not show much support to the track and Curb Records decided not to move forward with promotional plans, even though the song was used briefly in a Lane Bryant advertising campaign, which Locke was a spokesperson for. Change was later released as the lead single instead.

While the album version is a downtempo R&B song, an 80's Drum and Bass inspired remix by Def Jef was made for radio promotion. Fan reaction to the song was positive, however opinions on the remix were mixed. The promotional CDs featured the following track list:

  1. "Supawoman" (DMH mix short intro)
  2. "Supawoman" (DMH mix)

A version featuring rapper Petey Pablo remains unreleased.
