Suraj Singh T is an Indian presenter, actor, director and producer. He is by far known as the presenter of the longest running Nepali talk show Call Kantipur which airs everyday on Kantipur Television. The show along with himself did really well at start but with time he widened his interest in other fields as a reason of which he handed the reign of the show in hands of other young talents like Suraj Giri, akesha bista and riju shrestha after 10 years of running the show. He has also directed many Music Videos and has also acted in some of them.

Education

Suraj did his schooling from Adarsha Vidya Mandir,Lalitpur, Nepal and completed his college from Xavier Academy science college (NEF). He has a master's degree in Environmental Science. He is a sport enthusiast and has played cricket in national levels.[1]

Personal life

He is married to his childhood friend Reshma Amatya. Giving an interview to wave magazine, he said "...I had feelings for her since childhood and always believed that she is the one for me." He has a little daughter named Sanbriti [2] He resides in Baneshwor.

Professional career

Call Kantipur was the first show that made him recognized. He launched his show with his co host -prasidika she was later replaced by Miss Nepal Preity Sitoula. She was later replaced by another Miss Nepal, Malvika Subba. He then shared the show with VJ/RJ Manavi Dhakal.He has always considered Bhusan Dahal as his role model.[3]

Along with Call Kantipur, he has many shows aired on KTV. He has produced shows like KTV Tiffin Box, Arrival, Kantipur Aja, Ghum Gham, Ghum Gham with Bhushan Dahal, KTV countdown and KTV Cook Book, Pariwartan and has also directed number of music videos.

Now he left Call Kantipur and started another show Pariwartan on same channel Kantipur Television. An interview based social show with the objective of bringing out the problems in the society and its solution. Unlike most of the talk shows which consistently deals with political issues this talk show delves deep into the social problems which very few people may think of it in their daily lives .[4]
