Susan Langdon has been the executive director and mentor of the Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI) since 1994,[1] and since been mentor to many Canadian fashion designers; including David Dixon, Sunny Fong of Project Runway Canada, Joeffer Caoc, Sid Neigum, Pina Ferlisi at McQ, Todd Lynn, Arthur Mendonça, Laura Siegel, Line Knitwear and Smythe.[2][3][4]

Career

Langdon attended Ryerson University and completed the Fashion Design program in 1977. The career that followed lead to awards including the Woolmark Award of Distinction and Concours Design Award.[5][6]

In 1996, Langdon received the City of Toronto'Excellence in Fashion Industry Achievement Award,[7] and in 1998 received Ryerson University's Alumni Award of Distinction and inducted into the university's hall of fame.[8] In 2005, Langdon received the JoAnna Townsend Award from the Organization of Women in International Trade.[9][10][11]
