Swinstead Abbey was an abbey in Swinstead, Lincolnshire, and a location in Shakespeare's King John.
Act 3 Scene 5 of King John takes place in "The orchard in Swinstead Abbey" with the death agonies of King John, supported by his Barons.[1]
Act 5 Scene 7 of King John, with Prince Henry, Salisbury and Bigot takes place in "The orchard in Swinstead Abbey".[2]
