Syncro is a software platform for managed service providers (MSPs) that integrates professional services automation (PSA), remote monitoring and management (RMM), and remote access.

History

[edit]

Syncro was established in 2017 with the merger of two companies: RepairShopr, a business management tool, and RepairTech, which developed software with RMM-like capabilities. The company is headquartered in Seattle, Washington.[1][2][3]

In December 2021, Emily Glass, formerly the Customer Experience Officer and Chief Product Officer at Datto, was appointed as the new CEO. She announced her leadership would focus on enhancing the PSA features of Syncro, with emphasis on security protocols, including the achievement of SOC 2 compliance and the introduction of single sign-on (SSO) support.[4][5][6][7]

In October 2021, Syncro acquired Watchman Monitoring, a SaaS product for health monitoring in macOS and Windows devices.[8]

In February 2024, Michael George, who previously held the roles of CEO of Invicti Security and an executive at Continuum, succeeded Glass as CEO. Assuming the role of CEO, George announced that his leadership at Syncro will focus on leveraging AI, automation, and security.[9][10][11][12]

George appointed Dee Zepf as the company's new Chief Product Offer in March 2024. Prior to joining Syncro, Zepf held the role of VP of Product at Continuum and Sense.[13]

Software

[edit]

Syncro includes features for MSPs such as professional services automation (PSA) for ticketing and billing, remote monitoring and management (RMM) for system monitoring and patch management, and smart ticket management for automated ticket categorization and resolution.[14][15][16]

In addition to its core features, Syncro integrates with over 50 third-party tools. The platform is SOC 2 compliant.[17]
